“DNA for all” space to be inaugurated at City of Science
(TFS) - In a first at the City of Science in Tunis, an area
entirely dedicated to DNA - will be inaugurated on Wednesday April 25th.
As its name indicates “DNA for all”, this space will
be open to all audiences: students, secondary school teachers, academics,
researchers, laboratory technicians, lawyers, technical police personnel and
even uneducated citizens.
“DNA for ALL” will therefore provide information on
this molecule, a support for genetic information inherited from the living
beings, which, strictly speaking, determines many of their parameters such as
size, shape, colour of eyes and skin, nature, hair..
During this event, young guests will not only be able
touch the DNA, but also discover the world of scientific research through
experiments in playful and didactic workshops.
However, the adult audience will have the opportunity to learn about the latest advances in molecular biology through conferences, training sessions, and celebrations of international days.
